Marble cladding and flooring for a Resort in Castel Monastero – Siena
Public projects
Designer: Arch. Patrizia Quartero
Realised in: 2009
Employed material: Atlantide Yellow, Kaesar Brown, Classic Travertine, White Statuario
Description: This complex project was part of the restoration of an entire village not far from Siena, which has been transformed in a sort of “extended” hotel. We have realised and supplied the panelling for all the bathrooms of the resort, which, given the outmoded structure, were all different from each other and had irregular walls, necessitating thus a detailed survey. In these bathrooms has been employed Kaesar Brown stone, treated with sand-blasting and brushing techniques, with which we have also carried out the monolithic washbasins. We have also realised the panelling of the SPA area with brushed Atlantide Yellow marble and renewed the external swimming pool, realised with Classic Travertine, as well as supplied the restaurant with a counter in White Statuario.
